I like this diaper, and I think it's going to be great this summer. I hope it lasts long enough. It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be. I know it needs to be tight, but I wish it was just a big bigger for my twins who are 17 mo. I bought the 18 month size. My girls are in the 50th percentile, so if your kid is bigger, go for a bigger size.
I am excited to have a white swim diaper to go under my daughter's swim suits . . . I didn't like the bright colors of the disposable diaper taking away from her cute suits. It's easy to wash with the suits and will pay for itself soon . . . great product! She is only 6 months and may outgrow it before she turns a year . . . I bought the 12 month size.
We put them on our son for naps & at night and NO LEAKS. No other product has done that for us. Ever the Gerber Waterproof Diaper covers they would leak so much. Then, the Geber Diaper Covers only after 5 uses tears would start. Thank you for this product hopefully this site will get sizes that will fit a 45 inch & 40 pound boy starting swiming lesson this summer.
Worked well at the pool. Fits true to size (in weight). If you have a chunky-legged kid, order next size up, as the legs are a bit tight (that may be the correct fit to hold liquids in). Pleased with quality and workmanship- gusseted bottom, fits a little low on the waist (could be my child). Interior holds/absorbs liquids well (so that it doesn't gush out when you remove the suit); exterior layer squeezes water out just like a regular suit. Doesn't get heavy or bulky. Pleased with product and price, I just wish I had ordered a bit bigger.
I have used the product twice so far it really fills up with water! All that extra water pulls the diaper away from my child's body so that the diaper really sags (not so effective when the fit should be snug). I lift my child up repeatedly in swim class and all that extra water adds weight. I was really just trying to find a more eco-friendly solution to our twice per week class. I guess it will work for now until we no longer need diapers. Also there is an annoying dark blue (very noticeable) thread caught inside the diaper. Not the quality I would have expected from a company that has been around so long.
