My daughter tends to be on the tall and skinny side and has a hard time with one pieces which is why I went with tankini. I expected a gap between the two pieces or it to be big around but it fits perfectly! And it is adorable on her. Perfect for a little girl.

I bought this for my daughter and we both think its super cute.  I measured her waist and chest and compared that to the size chart but when it arrived it was too big so I had to send it back to get a smaller size.  Though it is now the right fit for her waist, there is about an inch gap between the two pieces of the suit, making it look kind of small.  We are happy with the look of the suit but the fit isn''t good for tall and slender girls.
