Feels too small

These fins replace another Speedo Fin that was excellent. However, this fin, which I assumed was the same model as the other, is made of much cheaper quality material, very thin and light, and difficult to put on (too small). I wore them for the first time today and was very disappointed and plan to return them. I still would like to purchase a good set of large fins but must look at some to ensure that I get a set that I am happy with, like my last set of Speedo Fins (I left them at the pool, unfortunately!!)

These run VERY small. My 7 yr old wears a size 2, so I ordered an XXS. My 10 yr old wears a 3.5 so I purchased an XS (according to the size charts). The older one was unable to even get his foot in the XS and the 7 year old struggles with the XS as well. Order at least a size up!

Fits well and overall the design is just OK. The fin strength is too soft and it folds when doing powerful kicks. May be best for recreational use but not for serious distance and strength training.

Although Speedo is usually a great product, I feel like these fins fell short of my expectations-- The boot fit to size, but the fin itself is VERY STIFF. The material used is a hard plastic, instead of a durable rubber!
