I purchased this item for my grandson who is enrolled in a 6 week competition swim course.  He is on the chunky side and wanted to cover as much as his body as possible.  He really likes this suit and we coupled it with a swim shirt and he is very pleased.

My son 12year old feels that it is perfect fit and light and helps him to swim fast in team competitions.

If you have hairy thighs, you might find jammers to be quicker than briefs in the water.  I did!  Now I have to shave my thighs to see what's really quicker!
