I used this for wakeskating. Being a bit rougher than an average swim, I was initially worried that I would be constantly having to reinsert the ear buds or fiddle with other random discomforts. While the arm band did often get twisted up, it held the unit fine. The ear buds stayed in my ears quite well and were very comfortable. What's really terrible about this product is the navigation. Who's decision was it to put touch buttons on a tiny cylindrical product which is specially marketed and designed for in-water use? Operating it is very unpleasant. After deciding that it was more trouble than it was worth, I stored it away for a few months. When I took it out to take it for another go, it wouldn't turn on despite displaying a full battery when on the charger.

These last about a year to 18 months with daily use. I have been using them for about four years. This is my third model. This upgrade is VERY nice. Well worth the $. Also, the best sound quality of any "underwater" MP3 player that I have tried. And I have tried just about all of them. As with any headphone jack, be careful how you handle it, it WILL eventually short out and need to be replaced. Fortunately you can buy replacement ear buds. Just being real here. You WILL love this item.

I use it to kill the boredom of swimming laps forever. First unit I received had the R- side audio out. Touch pad sensitive sometimes it will drive you through the menu where you don''t want to go. Menu difficult to navigate. Took about 2 weeks to get use to the unit. Low to no bass tones, unable to fix with equalizer. For $100 bucks US next time I’ll try a different brand

I don't know what was so difficult about transfering music taking too long. Took me 15 minutes... Sound quality is fine. We are swimming afterall... Earplugs need some work though. There's got to be a better solid stay-in fit.. Overall, very impressed and happy to be back in the pool.

Translation from Chinese is not so good. Instructions hard to follow and operation does not make sense. Sound quality is good, but this is my second one from this company because 1st one quit working and I like this design - small. Will give it another week to try to figure out how to use. Transferring music to it also difficult and time consuming.

I have been swimming several miles each week for several years using the dolphin lite, the one that sits behind your head... I love it !!! I decided to try the dolphin touch pro. The sound quality is great with the lite, but even better with the touch pro. The problem is, the touch pro controls are heat activated, so in the pool they won''t work, your fingers and the touch pro are the same temperature :( I think this unit is great above water, but a serious design flaw if it is to be used swimming... don''t buy it !!! The best out there is the dolphin lite :)
