We used this for our 20 month old, 25 lb son. He loves his floaty jacket, and it does a great job keeping him afloat, although he still needs to be held in order to stay upright.

The only downside is that it tends to ride up on his chin, although that is mitigated somewhat by snapping the shorts to the vest. The fit is snug, but the fabric is stretchy so it isn''t too tight. The material on the shorts is decent, nothing fancy.

Just returned from Cancun Mexico and felt that my son was very safe in the suit.  As the lower portion was too small, we used the upper and were very pleased.
