My 13 yr old son will only wear these.  However, between the price, a growing teen and they shrink some, its best to go slightly bigger.  First wear w no washing had to wear belt.  After wash, they were almost perfect size.  Already went thru 2 of 4 pairs because too small too fast.  Order at least one size up.  Other than that, great jeans!
