Used this in a 70.3 tri. Served me well. Nutrition holders worked great. Also held a Chap Stick. Good quality. A good value.

It looks super cute and great online, but this race belt is very bulky. It''s about a 1.5 inch thick and feels heavy on the hip, even without gels. This would be ideal for an endurance runner looking to carry multiple gels.

Belt material is good quality and the material is thicker and heavier than the racing belt I was replacing (same kind of belt with the loops to hold energy gels).
Elastic is pretty strong so I my first thought was to set it a bit loose. I did a triathlon with it, wore it on the bike and run and poured water on myself to help cool off as I made it through the 10k. I noticed that once the belt was soaking wet, it started to want to slide down my waist, loaded with 1 gel (the heavy belt material and soaked water). I''ll have to try setting it a bit tighter to see if it continues to be an issue when loaded and wet.

My husband wore it in his first triathlon and didn't have any problems with it.
