Have tried other means of counting laps while swimming, but this unit works great.  One needs to understand the stop watch function of it will continue to time throughout your workout.  So, any pauses, or breaks will mean adding time to the current or next lap.  Unless you take the time to re-set the unit and write down the info for segments of a workout.  Also, be sure you push the button in the appropriate manner for what you want to do.  If you inadvertantly press the button briefly after your last lap, when you want to review the overall workout, you will add a phantom lap. This could have lots of other uses, like counting switchbacks while hiking, etc.

I love that I don't have to count anymore and I can just enjoy my swimming.

I found this product to be really great.,  I use it all the time.. however I also have a hard time trying to read the numbers.Maybe if the numbers were a little bigger or the light a bit brighter that would be fantastic. I use this counter everyday swimming,but have trouble  reading my lap times.. Overall I find it very useful.. Debbie Boland.

I use it to count laps and time while swimming. I haven't used it that much since Xmas, but the times I have it has worked perfectly. I since my near sightedness isn't that good it is hard to read the numbers, but if they were bigger the unit would be bigger and that wouldn't work. The only other thing that I wish I could be sure of is that I pushed the button properly to register the lap. I think that will come with practice. Great unit overall.
