i use them for lap swim to prevent fins rubbing against my feet. Tou do have to use extra caution putting on and taking off though because they tear along the seams easily. Light enough they don't size your fin down.

These socks are terrific with swim fins. They prevent chafing and are comfy. However, they last a few months before they lose all elasticity and also begin to rip. I phoned the manufacturer about this--they took my comments but really had nothing to say about it.

Use them with monofin to guard against chaffing. They make no difference in sizing the fin. Some socks will make up the difference on a fin that's a little too big- these won't because they are very thin.
