Introduced 7 year old grand-daughter to this. She loves it, she can hang it around her nec.
A lot of stores are featuring Nose Clips with no strap now, and I wanted the one with a neck strap - so this was perfect! And it came quickly and with no problems.
It took me a few laps in the pool to get used to using this strap - but I really love it. No more water up my nose. I don't have to spend the day after swimming sneezing from the irritation of the chlorine. I can adjust the pressure against my nostrils. It fits snugly, yet doesn't pinch. I wouldn't want to wear it for extended hours at a time, but for 40 minutes of swimming at a stretch, it's very comfortable.
I ordered both this and the Speedo Competition nose clip at the same time (they aren't exactly expensive) to try both designs. For me, the Competition nose clip works far better than this design. The strap is an OK feature to have it hang around your neck when not in actual use (and in case it slips off your nose while IN use), but the design itself doesn't work as well.I don't really think my nose is large, but it's not a small narrow nose either. This clip is harder to get on and it never sits quite right and isn't very comfortable when it's on. It might be better suited to small, narrow noses? The Speedo Competition clip on the other hand goes on pretty easily (the fact that it's a lot easier to grasp when putting it on makes a big difference) and sits in place very well and is very snug but still comfortable when it's on. It's also more streamlined when in place.
I don't know if any nose clip is exactly comfortable - but this one does the job and I like that strap that I can put around my neck so that I don't lose it (like when I take it off to do water aerobics instead of laps.)
My 5 1/2 year old said it was too tight for his little nose. It doesn't float, but does have the strap. which my son didn't like the feeling of.
