This is a follow up on the Pearl Izumi Men''s Streak II Racing Shoe. I already completed my first Olympic Triathlon and one duathlon with these sneakers and all I can say is wow. Ran the 10K in the tri and averaged 7.37 per mile and it felt great. also ran a 5 K and had no problems. The sneakers held their own and supported me when it counted. I''m 5''10" and weigh 190lbs and the sneakers were amazing. Pearl Izumi Streak won me over.

I have been buying the Streak II for the last 4 times I needed new running shoes. Pearl Izumi did well with this shoe, producing a good quality, no-nonsense product. The shoe runs a half size small, that is true, but the wear-in period is very short, and after that it''s like wearing nothing at all. In my view a good running shoe performs quietly: I don''t have to think about what I''m wearing, I can focus on my training.

Bought this for my Tri in September, but when I got them I had to return them and get a large size. I usually wear size 10 but had to get size 10.5. I wear socks with my sneakers so I needed the room. They are light, feel very comfortable and provide alot of support during my jog :)
