Really looks great ... covers just enough of my upper back thigh ... hugs the hips.

I bought these in size 13 (my usual size in juniors) for a beach holiday last summer and needed to be more covered up than usual. They are super cute in person, and little details like the key loop were thoughtfully designed.

They fit fine as long as I didn''t get them wet. After I went into the water, they sagged so much they nearly fell off my hips; I could have slid them off without unfastening them. I''m really glad I wore my regular bikini bottoms underneath!

I''m not sure if going down a size to an 11 would have been better and didn''t have time to exchange the 13. Just know that you should wear your usual swim bottoms underneath until you can see for sure that these shorts won''t get pulled right off you if you tend to dive headfirst into the water.

They are good quality!

I''m 35 and it good shape, but I still don''t want to wear all the shorty board shorts that are predominantly available out there. I also don''t care for the knee-length one for ladies. These hit right in the middle and feel great! Can''t wait to take the, on my vacation to the Keys!

I am a very active person and wanted a pair of shorts I could play in and out of the water.  These are perfect.  I like them so much, I purchased a second pair!   I love the length.  They are not too long or too short.  I am a petite middle aged lady and these cover just enough to feel comfortable playing with the kids.  

I am a petite 5'' woman with a 26" waist/35" hip. I use the shorts for snorkelling. The waistband of the size 3 rides on my hips about 1" below my navel. They don''t fall off my hips but are not snug either. They can not be pulled all the way up to the waist which is probably good for boarding because the grommet and lace front closure won''t dig into the belly when lying on the board. There is no panty liner but the shorts are tight enough that they do not gape or ride up the legs. I like the material - light and stretchy - allowing the legs full range of motion. Some might like to wear a small bikini bottom with these shorts.
