I was always a swimmer growing up, not great but passable. After I gained weight I still kept pool swimming. Then I lost a bunch of weight (half my body weight) and lost my bouyancy. I had to re-learn to swim and was freaking out in open water. The Float gave me the confidence I needed to work my way back to swimming in open water.

i do a lot of open water swim training for triathalons and this is a must have. The first thing I noticed and this isn''t even the reason I purchased it was that it made it easy to spot my partner I was swimming with who isnt'' that experienced of a swimmer. When wearing it while swimming it isn''t noticable at all that its attached and floating with you. Why not have a bouy hanging off each open water swimmer? I have purchased 3 , I for myself and 2 others for frineds.

It works great. I don't even feel it's there, but knowing it is gives me confidence and peace of mind should I need it.

It does everything that's advertised.  I was weary that I may bump it with the back of my leg but I've never hit it at all, I can't feel it's there.  I put my keys and glasses in there and they stayed dry after my swim.  I reached back to grab it and I stayed afloat.  I'm glad there's something like this.  The only thing was that when you fold it up for the things you want to store and then start inflating it tended to unfold one crease for me, but it hasn't been a problem it didn't go beyond the one crease and my stuff stays dry.  Love the product...
