Snap beans have become my favourite "fuel tank" during long runs - and part of it is because these beans have the same exact crunch and chewiness of Jelly Belly''s. They are easy to chew and swallow, unlike other chewy fuels that require much more work and possibly slowing down your tempo to a walk for a good while. These beans are also not too sweet - they are perfect for me, even though I am a slight sweet tooth. The content of this supercandy does its job in giving you the boost you need mid-run. Only thing is that each packet is HUGE (it does have a number of beans), so stuffing it in your water bottle storage pocket may or may not be a problem, depending on how many fuel foods you''re carrying.
