These are pretty dang neat, but my 6'2" son isn't liking that they are at the knee; he prefers them longer, So, we await our 6'6" son's visit over the 4th --the one who said he is "reclaiming his legs" after a decade and a half of below the knee fare, to see if he'd like to own these beauties. Hopefully, they'll remain in the fam with one of the guys! The waist is true to size. They are unlined (what's up with that trend?). I hope this helps!
