Ordered a size 0  for my 14 year old daughter who is very slender and tall. She is very happy with them because it is hard to find board shorts that are long enough and still attractive. She wears a full suit underneath and feels comfortable and likes the look.

I'm in pretty decent shape (5'8, 150 lbs).  But at 37 and with two kids, there are certain areas of my body that I really don't want to display.  These board shorts are the perfect length, true to size and very flattering!  They cover up the "problem areas" without looking frumpy.  I wear them over a black one peice I found at The Gap.  And together the look is modest, but still contemporary.  I haven't worn a bathing suit in years, but these shorts make me feel confident and sexy!
