This was my first try at a minimalist shoe. I had a different line of Saucony before, but wanted to try a light weight shoe. I almost immediately noticed a big difference in my running. I wasn''t hitting my heel as hard and shaved about 30 seconds off my average pace. Additionally, they clean up well! I have the white pair and recently ran a race in the rain and mud. I hand washed them after taking the inserts out and they look practically new! I would imagine if you need a lot of support these might not be the best, as they truly are a light weight shoe. If you don''t have serious pronation problems and are looking for a minimalist shoe to try that doesn''t leave your feet literally on the asphalt, definitely give these a try!
