This swimsuit fits ALOT smaller than a 12. I wear a size 8 and had to reorder this swimsuit in a size 14. I could barely get the 12 on.

I''m giving this a high rating because it is beautiful and sturdy but it''s too short in the torso for my comfort. Because it''s small in this one area, I would have to go up a size which is way too big everywhere else. Bummer because it''s really quite a lovely color (I ordered the kelly green) and design. I know someone will be able to wear it happily!
