Purchased this after returning the hipster due to smaller fit & coverage. I''m 51 between a size 8 & 10 & have the large. This design allows the wearer to customize it by cinching up the sides, or letting them down. I wear it with the bandeau top to the pool & lake. Would NOT recommend for water sports. It''s very comfortable and well made. I just returned from Vegas poolside and saw a few skirted/shorts bottoms - not just on ''mature'' ladies. I love the variety in bottoms these days. Highly recommend when you don''t want to show all your ''assets''. :~)
