I got the blue ones and they looked just as described. A great looking pair of board shorts. If you're in between sizes, go for the smaller of the 2. Just velcro at an angle so the waste is slightly bigger. It's a better option than ordering the size bigger and having to synch them with the knot and the material folding awkwardly.
