In the past I was using styrofoam dumbbells and these give more resistance in the water. I am recovering from a car accident when my left arm was broken in several places with my shoulder totally smashed - the doctor said it was in a thousand pieces. I do water aerobics 5 days a week. Thank you

They fit most anyone and I have found most clients enjoy the extra push it gives the upper body workout. I use them in shallow and deep water classes and have found that as long as the client sticks to form they have little chance on injury and feel they have added a great tool to their workout. The arm trainers are easy to use, fit most everyone (men and women) travel well and are built to last. I use them with multiple clients 6 days a week and they show no sign of wear.

What an incredible improvement over anything else I have used . You can feel the resistance immediately. Great to be able to keep them on without having to clench a fist ; they are designed to transmit the resistance to the arms, etc. One design flaw which resulted in 4 vs 5 stars. Some padding where the trainer hits the forearm would be preferable, easily resoved with a bit of ingenuity.

These boxers were recommended by my Aerobics instructor, because, I was experiencing shoulder pain. I Tried them, they gave me a good resistance workout without any of the pain that I had been having with the buoyancy dumbells.

Better than nothing but I had to wear them WITH my swim gloves to get the workout I need. A model with knuckle blades for added resistance would be a welcome option.

I cannot begin to tell you how useful these things are. OK, I'll try. No matter how you move the resistance is there. The more force you exert, the more it resists. And you can't get hurt! Soon as you stop, it stops resisting. I practice my punching moves in ways that are not possible out of the water. All aspects of your motion are challenged. Make your own moves. You'll get better at whatever it is you want to get better at. The price is very reasonable.
