I purchased this cap for my beginning level swim class and so far so good. It holds my afro much better than I could have hoped, although the cap does allow the very back of my hair to get wet. It stays in place and isn't uncomfortable for the hour or so I wear it.

Ths is the only cap that I need for my big head and thick braid. Don't know why but it's hard to find in local stores.
