This hybrid wheel is built with spokes for strength and durability. The disc sides are bonded to the hub rim and spokes, and with a two-part building process, the disc sides can be made lighter and shaped more readily without losing any strength.
It incorporates a toroidal bulge near the rum and a radius on the large transition leading from the hub to the bulge. This shape makes the Jet Disc not only faster than the standard disc, but also faster than most competitors tubular discs.

Not cheap, but actually is relative to most of the other disc wheels available. Works like a charm. **NOT** shipped in any sort of wrapping; shipped LOOSE in box with only "hub bumpers" for protection. Swim Outlet needs to do better--make sure you ask for adequate padding/cushioning.
