These are great because they made it with a really silky type of lyra that molds to your knee really well.  To keep them in place, they have a strip of gel-like silicone -which is very sticky, and works about as well as any other kneewarmer.  The best way to keep kneewarmers in place is just to get your sweat on.  Once your leg starts to perspire, the lycra pretty much adheres to your leg anyway.  The red color is really strong though -it might not look right with the gear you already have.  Next time I'd go with black.
