My daughter usually wears a 28 or 30 suit - I ordered a 28 and she couldn''t even get it on. Reordered a 32 and it fits well. It is very cute, but just not very stretchy.

I purchased this suit for my oldest daughter (13) in a size 32 (she typically wears a 28 in competition suits for Speedo/Tyr/Dolfin). The 32 barely fits my 10-year old daughter. I would recommend that if this is a practice suit that you order AT LEAST 3 sizes bigger than normal. The sizing chart is useless as it says that the size 14 would be the "Juniors" equivalent to the 32 ... my oldest daughter is a size 12-14 with 14 being on the very big side for her.

I am a serious ''senior'' lap swimmer, 5''3" and 117 lbs. Originally ordered one of these ''funkies'' in my normal size, a 36, and could NOT get it on! So, ended up buying a 40XL to get the fit I was comfortable in. It seems strange that there should be such size descrepancies between brands; but I guess that is a fact of life. If you pay attention to these posts by purchasers BEFORE you buy, you won''t have to return and re-order, like I did! I LOVE the suit, and am happy each time I rotate (through my six suits) and get to wear it!

I am a swim instructor, and so Im in the water almost 40 hours a week, this suit has held up for me really well, it covers everything nicely and doesn't make me feel uncomfortable in front of parents. It's design is nice, it fits well and holds up in the water, although I don't personally like the shine to it, if you do, it's a great suit for you!
