Perfect fit. I have a big head. It keeps me warm & helps me stay in the water longer. But I mainly use it to secure the headphones. This is the only thing that solved the problem of headphones from falling off. If you love music, swimming with music on is 10x more enjoyable. Cons; it only comes in black. If you swim in the ocean, I wish they make it in bright colors for easy visibility for boats, surfers, etc.
I have an average size head for a petite female, but this fits so tight it chokes me. I plan on returning it.
My husband and I purchased the Beanies for a trip to Bonaire. We are snorkelers who also wear wetsuits, and the added layer on our heads made a world of difference. The added warmth let us stay in the water longer and be more comfortable. My husband's was a large size and mine was a medium. They fit well. I ordered a small for myself the first time, but it was definitely meant for childrens' heads. They seem to be well made - quality material and stitching. They felt soft, fit very well, and the velcro strapping stayed secure. The beanie also helped keep some of the water out of our ears.
why do insulated swim caps come only in Black?? Want red or orange bright color. I have 2 now which I have worn out. jack gross
I agree with other comments. You need to add bright caps, (especially polypro or similar material) for cold, open water, like San Francisco Bay.
Please stock orange/neon color neoprene insulated caps for open water swimmers!!! Black is useless unless you want to be run over by a boat!!!
