I ordered these in 32" & 34" waist.  One was too small and the other too big.  These are 100% nylon with no elastic in the waistband, so you've got to cinch any extra fabric and it doesn't work well unless it's a perfect fit.  So, back they went.  Great product if it fits.  Not too long like most board shorts.
