I am comparing these to another pair of Columbia shoes that I purchased several years ago. The sole is completely flat...no arch whatsoever, and you will need an insert. I should have a wide width but this will be ok with the mesh upper, due to my bunyions it works. I had hoped to wear them on my vacation to Walt Disney World but there is no chance of that. I would be in the hospital by the end of the day. They are ok to go to the market and back home again. Not impressed at all. Now I know why they were $25!

Love them- great trail shoes. light yet handle terrain great! I was leary with the price being so good- but now I am thinking of stocking up and getting another pair because the price was so good and I love them so much! And they shipped super quick!
