This bottom is not for the average butt.  I have no hips and ordered the XS which fits perfect -  gives great coverage but I can see how someone with a larger butt the crack or too much cheek will show.  The ruching along the seam does accentuate your crack but with the matching top, that is what makes the suit sexy.  In my early 40's and unsure how sexy I want to be now out in public, so not sure if I will keep but I do love the way it looks.  I ordered the other matching bottom that just has the side tie on one side so more to report on later.
