looks nice, but my hands slip a lot |

I really want to love this mat. It feels really nice and looks really nice, it is very lightweight. The problem that I have is that I can''t do downward dog without my hands sliding. For how much time I spend in this pose, I need to feel comfortable there. It has a nice grip, but it just fails in this position. Wish it were different as I know this is a great brand and it is well priced. This yogi is so sad to share this type of information...I''ll keep looking though!

This is a lightweight, well-made product. It''s real rubber, not a synthetic, so it comes with a slight smell. They recommend that you store it open for the first few weeks. The smell went away after two days. This mat has turned out to be perfect for me. The only drawback is I get a little slippage in downward dog. Maybe that would be true with any mat?
