I''ve had my mat for a little over 3 weeks now, and use it 4-5x a week. I can already tell that the more I use this mat, the better it will be. It has the perfect amount of cushioning, though slips a little when wet. By the end of my practice, it''s tough to grip my mat with my hands. Regardless, I think this will get better the more I use it.

It is much more cushiony than my last mat, and my hands sliding has stopped after a couple of weeks of daily use (I''m a yoga instructor). I like that it isn''t as heavy as the PRO, since I have to tote my mat to all the places I teach. I have a bad knee, and still double my mat over to protect it. I love the color, the smell resided after a couple of days of airing out. I think it will be a great mat, however, I have only used it a couple of weeks!

I have owned a few mats before, but this is the first one I am truly fond of. It is durable, good looking, and comfortable on the joints. Like all mats, if you have slick hands like me you will slide a bit at first, but that is reduced significantly by a month or two of steady practice (unlike many mats I''ve tried). I also appreciate that is is closed cell (bacteria don''t seep in) and made of safe materials in a responsible manner. And you can''t beat a lifetime guarantee. :) All-in-all, a fantastic product well worth every penny.

Love my Manduka Pro mat, but it is very heavy. This mat, although slightly thinner is a lot lighter. Excellent mat, good quality, and the perfect mat for hot yoga.
