Actually, the size does run small, so we listened to the reviews & got my son the XL, even though he''s a size 34-36. We thought it might be too big, but it''s just right. A size smaller wouldn''t have fit. He loves it!

Bought this for my son. This is a beautiful suit, nice and thick material that is well made. The only problem was it fit too snug in the nether regions.
