This case replaced an older pelican case. This one is sturdier and has a thicker audio cable on it.

I purchased this to protect my iPod Shuffle while doing water therapy exercises.  Since the unit is only "water resistant", and not waterproof, it will not work for my purposes.  It is too big and heavy to fasten to my suit anywhere that it wouldn''t be under water periodically.  The instructions say it should not be immersed.   I will be returning it and looking for a smaller, and hopefully waterproof, case.
