For scuba with a hood, lenses rest on the cheekbones so view of controls on chest isn''t blocked by skirt.  Had clear skirt version, surface light reflected inside made it hard to see toward the bottom, this black skirt fixed that glare problem. Wider lens masks... gotta get the black skirt.
