I am a lap swimmer, but I bought this suit because I thought it would be a modest and attractive suit to wear on a private beach in the Middle East. I did swim laps in it, however, and it worked quite well and was comfortable. As expected, however, the loose skirt in front created some drag, so I generally will not use it when I swim laps.

I haven't had a chance to swim in this suit - once I've actually worn it in the water I may want to change the rating to 5 stars. I looked a lot for this style of swimsuit and was thrilled to find this at SwimOutlet. My daughter suggested I buy 2 since it is the style I like - so I did! The price was nice, too. I like the straight top front and back and the sarong front covers nicely. I'm looking forward to using this suit for water aerobics and going to the beach in Hawaii.
