too tight; not what expected from description

I was looking for a cap that would keep my very long and voluminous hair firmly out of my face, yet not stress my hair with pulling like latex or silicone caps do.  Plain lycra caps are too loose and squishy.  This cap works perfectly.  I've been using it for 3 months of 5-day-a-week lap swimming and it's held up great...no stretching out of shape or rotting...unlike the expensive Arena Smart Cap, which cost a great deal more and was completely worn out in less than 3 months.

This is not a standard lycra cap, it is a heavy nylon (or something) with a lycra mesh over it.   I swim in a pool and have never seen one of these before and don't really know where it is intended to be used.  I returned the product as soon as I opened it....it definitely wasn't what I wanted.

I used to only use acrylic caps.  This is far superior in terms of fit and keeping hair dry.  Seems hardy and long lasting.
