Really huge. Perfect for family at the beach. I thought I needed this for fins/paddles/mask/snorkel but really too big. I purchased the normal gear bag for my gym swims and it is perfect.

Big enough for skim boards and boogie boards which is what we intended to use it for. It does not have a gusseted bottom at all, but it works well for flat items or many smaller, less bulky items, in my opinion. The wider carry strap was a plus, rather than the skinny cords that dig into your shoulder with any weight in the bag.
