Fits awesome. I measure a true women's size 12. I'm a men's 11. Finding this shoe is a Godsend. The sole does not support any cleat besides a road bike pedal. Not for spinning class. Found that out the hard way . I got a Fuji bike to match these shoes because they are so incredibly comfortable and stylish. The heel amd ankle parts have some kind of material that resists heel lift. It's like a one way check valve, smooth going in and snug sliding out. I took the shoes to the bike store and they installed the pedal cleat, which has yellow parts that the road bike pedal clamps down on. The toe box of this shoe is just enough room for me to feel toe spread but not touching anywhere. For contrast, I have boatranger spinning mountain bike shoes. The boatranger shoes are men's 35.5 because the toe box was so cramped. I had to add an insole to the boatranger shoes to get a proper fit. These shimano shoes are not like the clunky boatranger shoes. These shimano shoes are lightweight , carbon soled, steel cage vented at the toe box, and super easy to click in amd out of my road bike with.I'm a first timer in a cleared cycle shoe and my instant love of these shoes has yet to be tested for long rides. I'll say that this shoe would be improved if it had the two holes needed for the spinning class cleat.
