I bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday. She loved it. Takinis and boy shorts are my favorite and they fit her very well. She uses it for recreation, such as the lake and also in the yard while playing the wading pool. She also uses it in swimming lessons. The ties up the side of the boy shorts help to adjust to a child's size.

Better buy this suit in a size bigger.  It is cute though!
