I knew I could get a better HRM if I spent more money, but I chose this one instead. It's probably not as accurate as it could be and environmental conditions (ie: water) can screw up the reading. But it seems fairly accurate and the price was right. It's also a water resistant watch - which I needed. So to have the added advantage of the HRM is nice.

This watch fits my needs and requirements. I wear it all the time and check my pulse often. One would be surprised how often the pulse rate changes throughout the day. Not having to wear a chest strap makes the watch even more convenient. Having to place your finger on the top ring of the watch to get a pulse is a little difficult while doing some exercises but not many. No problem at all while running, jogging, walking, biking etc. The few times I've checked, the watch gives a fairly accurate pulse rate. All and all I am happy with my purchase. Four stars because nothing is perfect.
