This is my first time running with a CamelBak hydration pack. I've always carried my water or used a water bottle holder that strapped around my waist. This is so much better! I've been training for my first marathon and it's HOT this summer and this pack makes my runs that much more enjoyable. I no longer have to stash waters at different points along my route. I can just carry it with me. The women's pack fits me great (I'm 5'5" and about 135 lbs)--the adjustable straps on the sides and the one across the top helps make for a good fit. The arm straps are comfortable and I've run up to 11 miles without running out of water and with no discomfort. The pack bounces just a little when the water gets low, but it's nothing annoying. I just tighten up the straps. Before you run, definitely do the air-out-of-the-bag trick by turning the bladder upside down and sucking out the air until all you get is water in the mouthpiece. Then turn it right-side up, insert the bladder back into the pack and off you go! No water sloshing around that way. I can now also carry my phone in the zipper pouch in the middle in case of emergencies and stash a few Goos and Shark Bites or Shot Blocks in the back lower pouch. Works very well!
