True to size, lightweight and comfortable. They do come up a little higher on the waist than I like, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall they are a good buy and value for the price.

These shorts run VERY small. I am a 12 but I like my guard shorts loose so I ordered the 14 and they STILL didn't fit. as 14 is the largest size they make looks like I will be ordering from the guys sizes again... Seem to be a good quality board short. I liked the color and lightness of the material but they were extremely unflattering when on.
