They are sized larger -- look at the chart. I ussually wear an XXL or XXXL --- but the XL is exactly my size. (in Assos brand, some XXLs are too big and some are too small). It stretches over my muscles (or fat) perfectly, giving a snug but comfortable fit. The arms are often too small for me in jerseys but the material stretches and works great. The workmanship is very good. I sweat a lot and use sunscreen on my face and many jerseys yellow very badly, including some of my other Izumis, but after a several rides, the white remains white.

Feels too big

i am 5''8" 162 and this is slightly on the big size in the large. i did not dare go for the medium fearing i would be looking unfashionable. a medium may still work. nonethless this has sun protection and is a top of the line cut and fabric. feels wonderful and seems to handle washing. I drip dry it to keep it from damaging in a dryer; not sure if it would but not worth the try.
