We had to go up one size; we couldn''t get it past his thighs and bottom with the measured waist sizing. But, the size up has been great.

The fit seems true to size. My son is very thin so we like that it has a draw string. I rinse it out after every swim practice and so far it is holding up great. I would recommend this product.

The product has a very low cut and my son felt that his but was being exposed. he refused to use the product. I am going to return.
