These boardshorts exceeded all my expectations. I purchased them as a modest swim bottom to cover up middle-aged thighs. The longer length gives them a youthful look, I think (a surfer dude-ette look, ya' know?), and the waistline is just right, neither too high nor too low. I've worn them swimming several times already, and they perform well: you can move easily in the water in them, the fabric is strong, and they dry very quickly once out of the water.

I love the fabric of the Volcom boardshorts, as well as the length!
They dry so quickly when wet. My husband and I love exploring the islands of the Caribbean and I wear these over my swim suit bottoms as we spend a day exploring beaches and hiking paths.
