Nobody likes to choke on water, so plug up your snorkel with the Snorkel Dry Top from FINIS™. When submerging under the water, a small buoy inside the Dry Top rises, effectively sealing the tube. Water is then prevented from entering, keeping your snorkel completely dry. When you surface, the buoy drops, opening the air passage for maximum airflow.
Keeps snorkel free of water Only compatible with Swimmer's Snorkel and Junior Imported

I loved swimming with my finis swimmers snorkel in the pool as I trained for my first triathlon! However, the tri swim was going to be in the ocean so I thought I would need the dry top....Huge mistake! Couldn''t figure out why I was struggling, until I thought to pull the dry top off halfway into my swim. Luckily I made up time because I could actually BREATHE a full breath in. Maybe I will try to train in the pool w/ it to improve lungs

With a neck injury dry top keeps water out of snorkel when lap swimming. No fun living with neck injury. :-)

This product did not have great reviews on it. So this is were I had to either go with the reviews or find out on my own. I am so glad I did not go with the reviews of the people who used it and did not like the dry top. I LIKE IT! It has allowed me to to flip turns with out getting all of the water in my Finis Snorkel and it really does stay dry. Some of the review were saying that it was hard for them to breath with the Dry Top, but not for me, I can breath just as easily as I did with out it. Give it a try even through the majority of reviews were not so great.

The one I bought from you before began to leak within a few months. So far this new one is fine, but hope it doesn''t end up in a short time with the same problem as the first one!

restricted air flow |

I like the snorkel, but the dry top restricts the air flow way too much for my taste, probably similar to the cardio cap. I took it off again and am learning to blow out water after each turn instead.

FINIS Snorkel Dry Top |

Follow all instructions very carefully. Submerge the FINIS Dry Top into very warm (Hot) water for a few minutes to expand the FINIS Dry Top plastic BEFORE you attempt to attach it to the FINIS Swimmer's Snorkel. This will provide an air and water-tight fit. No problem here. However, and this is a BIG however, after attaching the FINIS Dry Top and swimming about 10 warm up laps, I noticed it was very difficult to get the same amount of air into my lungs resulting in about 40-50% less available air intake which makes this product almost useless if you're a marathon swimmer like me. If you've purchased this product for recreational swimming, there should not be a problem, but for serious lap swimmers, I can't recommend purchasing this product due to significant air restriction. Hopefully FINIS will go back to the drawing board and make an adapter that prevents this from occurring.
