My son who is 6 and about 42 lbs was wearing a size 22 speedo, which fit great. We changed to The Finals and it is a little bigger no big deal. The suit is still nice.

size 24 is good for our 6 yrs. old twin; it takes me a couple of tries to figure it out. It''s in a good shape after two weeks (we swim daily).

If you are concerned about how this suit will compare to the more popular brands, worry not. Beautiful colors are vibrant, material is not 'thin', and is holding up well color and condition wise. I'm more than pleased with this purchase!
