My Aqua jogger cuffs are just what I was looking for. Adds resistance to my work out.
Not enough resistance
I'd hoped these cuffs would be as effective as they are simple/quick to put on. But they are too thin and light for the loft and resistance I want. Also, they scratch my calves; although the back side of the connectors are made to lie in a depression on the inside of the cuff, they don't stay flat and thereby scratch my calves. When I've pushed the cuff up higher to make them more snug, it eliminates the scratching, but creates uncomfortable pressure on the working muscles. I am giving them a 2-month "work-with-what-you-have" test. If it fails, I will most likely return to using the Hydrofit Buoyancy and Resistance Cuffs, which I had several year ago.
They've added some intensity to my workout, but the size of the cuffs are small. I have thin ankles and they are tight on me. My sister can't wear them at all. They should make them in sizes so that you can increase the resistance and fit more people.
They're very comfortable, easy to put on, but less effective than the more cumbersome ones. Are they're any made with thicker more buoyant material?
I wish these provided more resistance. They offer some (which is better than nothing). The hard plastic buttons can be a bit uncomfortable if they are not in the right place. All in all, I'm glad I bought them.
