I was looking for a cover up that would take me from beach to restaurant or anywhere in between. This was it. Material is soft. Dress is comfortable. Has padding in the top, which I may just remove. Nice roomy pockets. I am 5''2"'' and it sits just above the knee. Hand wash directions on label, but I did throw it in the washer on gentle cycle. Hang to dry, not my favorite thing, which is why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5.
